Concept and product development
Support to companies in the development of new industrially manufactured products, where I am part of the development team and / or work on parts of the project. I carry out the work at the client, in my own studio or both. I use 2D and 3D design software and my own equipment.

Aesthetic product design
Support to companies in the design of a new industrially manufactured products. Based on a prescribed or newly developed visual language, I create aesthetic concepts for a product housing and develop them to the desired level.
Activities cab be carried out at the clients office, at my own studio or both. The tools I use are 2D and 3D design software and my own equipment.

Design support for startups
Creative support in the development of a new business model or proposition, ranging from concept creation, concept visualization, storyboard visuals, scenario creation and visualization, industrial design, simple brochure layout and patent illustrations. The support is aimed at supporting the startup flexibly within the dynamics of the startup process in developing his / her story and elaborating it in concrete proposals for finding financiers.

Design language harmonization
Initiation or projectmanagement related to the aesthetic harmonization of the (industrial) design language within a brand or a program. Analysis of the current product portfolio, investigating the scope for harmonization within the technical possibilities, updating or developing a design language, translating the design language into guidelines, support in the roll-out of harmonization.

VISUALIZATION
Scenario and concept visualization
With this service I support companies, organizations or governments in the development of a product, service or process, in the first phase of the development. During meetings and work sessions I support the facilitator, I proactively stimulate the creation of ideas, scenarios and solutions, and elaborate these into clear concept visualisations that can be used strategically by the client. The tools I use for this are whiteboard or flipchart sketches, analog and digital image collages and digital sketches.

Storyboard and workflow visualization
A fisrm basis for changing a process or user interaction is mapping the current status. On location, or in my own studio, I analyze and visualize processes by means of photography and sketch, and elaborate these into a series of images. Where necessary, I make proposals for changes and / or elaborate them in a form of a design project.

Innovation visualizations
Sometimes inventors of an innovation are so specialized in their own field that they find it difficult to convey the added value of their own innovation. In such a case, communicative visualisations can help. When creating innovation visualisations, I start with a substantive discussion with the inventor about the innovation itself, about its significance for the potential customer and about the best way to visualize the innovation. In consultation with the inventor, I develop this information into material that enables him or her to clearly explain his or her story. Think of digital sketches, digital 3D render visualisations and / or a storyboard.

Live sketching during events and funerals
In some cases, depicting thoughts is more powerful than explaining them verbally. During this service, i observe, listen and draw. Doing so, visualizing lowers thresholds, makes abstract information concrete and helps making difficult subjects negotiable.

COCREATION WORKSHOPS
Cocreation is a form of collaboration in which all participants influence the process and its result. This can be a design, but also a plan or advice. Characteristics of cocreation are creative interaction, mutual interface, joint effort and result orientation.
Conditions for successful co-creation are equality of the participants, reciprocity, openness and trust. These qualities are best shown in a structured but creative process under the guidance of a workshop leader. Co-creation is not an end in itself, but an effective tool in finding widely supported solutions and creating “ownership” that can drive change.
The advantages of the cocreation method are:
• Shorter, effective creation processes;
• Appropriate solutions, which reflect what is going on among the participants;
• The participant is and remains the owner of the solution and thus becomes the “ambassador” of the project.
A co-creation project starts with an introductory meeting, in which the context, group size, location and the desired result are discussed. If necessary, I prepare the session (s) with inspiration images or examples. The session itself consists of an introduction, setting goals and conditions, a number of idea and filter sessions, a summary, testing against the conditions and a final evaluation. I then work out the results in a report with concept visualisations. In some cases, a follow-up session will follow after the first session (s) and / or I will support the roll-out of (sub) projects.
