Hydrogen designed

In order to prepare the industries’ future demand for sustainable energy, the Arnhem-based Elestor developed a large-scale modular energy storage system based on bromine and hydrogen. Placed near energy providing and/or absorbing locations, Elestor's flow battery system is able to store and release electric energy on demand.

In the process of scaling up the proven technology into tangible systems, Elestor was in need of exterior designs that addresses technical requirements, scalability, aesthetics, scenic integration and brand identity.

In the process of scaling up the proven technology into tangible systems, Elestor was in need of exterior designs that addresses technical requirements, scalability, aesthetics, scenic integration and brand identity. In close collaboration with the Elestor team, Rake Lijnen created a set of architectural elements that combine the above, designed in such a way that they blend into their environment and facilitate social acceptance. Subsequently, it created to power plant systems based in these elements. The designs were digitally visualized by Sensu.
