What if we could teach children at a very young age that tidying up can be a fun part of play?

Inspired by personal experiences, Rake Lijnen and Chillafish invented, designed and developed a mobile toy organizer that combines a shovel, a container and a walker. It is meant for kids that are just about to explore the world on foot.

By combining focused play, organizing, walking and riding, the toy helps young children to both develop their motoric skills and learn how much fun it is to clean up their mess. Studying play behavior and Involving children throughout the development process helped making the Blockie a helpful sustainable tool. Extensive testing and readjusting made it durable and safe to play with.

The Blockie was developed based upon the vision: sustainable through quality and relevance. Like the other products from the Chillafish toy collection, the Blockie is intended to be played with for longer and to be passed on to future generations. At the end of its life, it can be easily dismantled and added to a polypropylene (PP) recycling stream.
