Fourty memories of a first car

The Oudi 80 challenge was a one-day performance during the "Zilver G’oud" care innovation exhibition at the Vitalis Berckelhof residential care center, part of the 2017 Dutch Design Week.

Vitalis Berckelhof approached Joris Jacobs and me to contribute to the "Zilver G’oud" event, in which contact with residents and visitors was central. We chose to do this in the form of a challenge: within one day we would speak to 80 people and find out in a mini interview what their first car was, what made this car special, and a print of the car with the explanatory sentence add to the wall of fame..

The target of 80 photos was not achieved, but we managed to capture the virtual fleet of Vitalis with 40 photos and stories. The collection has led to many new car anecdotes.
